Section 1

All rules and parts of rules, including issuances of the Supreme Court inconsistent herewith, are hereby repealed or accordingly modified.

Section 2

These Rules shall take effect on the first day of August 2004, and shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the Philippines which provides sufficiently wide circulation. Promulgated this 6th day of July, 2004. (2004 Rules on Notarial Practice, A.M. No. 02-8-13-SC, [July 6, 2004])
