2010 Rules of Procedure for Municipal Election Contests

Section 1

For municipal election contests, these rules supersede A.M. No. 07-4-15-SC (The Rules of Procedure In Election Contests Before The Courts Involving Municipal and Barangay Officials) which became effective on May 15, 2007. All other rules, resolutions, regulations or circulars of the Supreme Court or parts thereof that are inconsistent with any provision of these Rules are hereby deemed repealed or modified accordingly.

Section 2

Effectivity clause. These Rules shall take effect fifteen (15) days after their publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the Philippines.
